Grossi Says Talks With Iran and Other Parties on Nuclear Issue Continue

According to Khabaronline, an Iranian news agency, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi confirmed that negotiations are continuing with the involvement of multiple actors, including talks with world leaders such as U.S. President Donald Trump during his visit to the White House in October.

Speaking to an Argentine media outlet, Grossi said he remains in constant contact with Iranian, European, Russian, and Chinese officials, adding that his efforts are focused on reaching a sustainable solution.

Grossi noted that the situation remains unresolved, particularly following the 12-day war launched by the Israeli regime against Iran.

During the conflict, Iran’s nuclear facilities in Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan were targeted in airstrikes on June by the U.S. Air Force, following Washington’s direct involvement in Israel’s aggression against Iran’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity.

According to official reports, the facilities sustained significant damage, though no increase in external radiation levels was recorded.

The IAEA chief also said that Iran’s stockpile of highly enriched uranium remains intact, amounting to around 400 kilograms enriched to 60 percent.

Without referring to his earlier statements that nuclear inspectors had returned to Iran, Grossi stressed that inspectors must resume their work under the framework of an agreement that is currently under negotiation.
