Number of Iranians Leaving the U.S. Reduced to 20

According to Khabaronline, an Iranian news agency, Mehrabadi explained in an exclusive interview that initially, 40 Iranian detainees were set to depart on the third flight back to Iran. However, due to adverse weather conditions and a measles outbreak, the number of passengers was reduced to 20. Some individuals are currently in quarantine.

He added that this group of Iranians, along with individuals from other countries, will depart from Mesa Airport in Arizona on Sunday morning and will return to Iran via Kuwait, with a brief stopover in Egypt.

Meanwhile, despite the cold weather and severe conditions, a number of Americans gathered on Saturday to protest against the Trump administration’s immigration policies at Mesa Airport in Arizona, where nationals from various countries, including Iran, are being sent back to their home countries.

These strict immigration policies, which were part of Trump’s election campaign promises, have led to the expulsion of migrants from the U.S. and the implementation of tighter border controls.

Reports indicate that the policies are being enforced more aggressively with the deployment of the National Guard and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in immigrant-friendly states, leading to protests and clashes between demonstrators and immigration officers in states like Minnesota.
