Iran, Azerbaijan Presidents Hold Call on Bilateral and Regional Issues

The statement highlighted the deep historical, ethnic, and religious ties connecting the peoples of Iran and Azerbaijan.

During the call, both sides referred to previous visits by the Iranian president to Azerbaijan, high-level meetings between the two leaders, and constructive negotiations held in recent years.
