Iran will never bow down to pressure, warns Pezeshkian

Addressing a ceremony to honor the medalists of the 2025 World Science Olympiads on Saturday, Pezeshkian referred to the failure of the UN Security Council to adopt a draft resolution to permanently lift the sanctions against Iran.

He said that the enemies cannot block the path of anyone who has the determination, will, and ability to progress. Adding that “we will not bow down, because we have the ability and power to bring transformation, and that we should not allow a fake criminal regime to force its will in the region.”

The President emphasized that his administration is working to transform the education system in a way that enables Iranian youth to overcome obstacles without hesitation when pursuing their goals.

Highlighting the progress achieved by many countries through the effective use of their human resources, Pezeshkian stated that the Islamic Republic has not advanced as much as it could, as it has not fully harnessed its potential. “I have repeatedly emphasized that the true wealth of this country lies not in its oil, gas, or gold mines, but in you—the nation’s elite and creative youth,” he added.

Commending the medalists of the World Science Olympiads for making the country proud by raising Iranian flags in the global arena, the President said that the Iranian youth will bring the country to the pinnacle of progress. “By relying on you, Iran can bring prosperity, justice, and fairness to itself and the region,”  he noted.
