US Aim: Derail Talks, Justify Attacking Iran

Available evidence suggests that neither the US intends to back down from its demands—namely, the elimination of Iran’s nuclear capabilities, the elimination of Iran’s missile capabilities, and the severing of Iran’s ties with the Axis of Resistance—nor is Iran going to accept any of these conditions.

Can the US military build-up in the region frighten Iran into making concessions to the US, or will Iran refuse to yield to coercive terms, with the outcome of the threats being determined on the battlefield?
